So I think that the creature which is rotten and all is GOD?? Not the mainstream god who blesses and corrects but rather your version of god who is evil and doesn't help or correct but still carves the wings out of you to fly(and by carving wings do you mean unleashing the potential?) At some point or the other. I also think that this creature can be a future version of ourselves, like the version we may hypothetically become after we die while not reaching our full potential-so this hypothetical version in its' own dread chases us back and makes sure that we grow wings and attain our full potential. And I also think that this creature can be the dread that we have of not achieving our own potential, eventually this dread grows so big that it resembles a monster and tries to clip its way into our life by carving our wings, it is like the dread grows too big to be just in the head and eventually manifests itself into the physical realm-in this act the dread changes us and finally helps us achieving our won potential.
